Welcome to Dotorque – a patent pending design made in England is used use in conjunction with a torque wrench.
Dotorque validates your torque wrench accuracy before use and thus eliminates the chance of an incorrectly adjusted torque wrench or a faulty torque wrench being used to tighten a bolt and stripping the thread or even more critical cracking a carbon fibre panel or a cycle frame where nm are critical and have to be adhered too.
This device will be an asset to either DIY, or a Professional workshop.
Instructions
Adjust your torque wrench to the desired nm, and then test the torque wrench value on the appropriate size head on the Dotorque validation unit, listen out for either the click or buzz when torquing up the wrench, and if the warning is correct, then go to your place of work.
Tighten the bolt to the correct nm knowing with confidence you are not going to damage either the thread or any material.
The Dotorque validation unit can conveniently be secured by pre-drilled holes to either a horizontal or vertical surface.
Please do not exceed these torque nm values for a dry unlubricated thread.
